Microcinema - Movie for Change is an NGO founded in 2015 by a group of filmmakers and social activists who believe that films are not a luxury. Rather, they are a basic social commodity, essential to an egalitarian and fair society.
Our Mission is to reduce inequality in low socio-economic and geographical peripheral communities using cinema as a tool.
Our Goals are to bring high quality movies to these communities; use the movies as a catalyst for community engagement
This diverse activity is carried out while ensuring the value of community participation in selecting topics and films and encouraging them to act as communities that are alert to their needs and proactive in achieving their goals.
